Jayme Amberson ATTORNEY AT LAW
With more than 16 years of experience in the legal field, Jayme Amberson provides advice and counsel to individuals in a variety of legal matters with a primary focus on family law. As an attorney, Mrs. Amberson has assisted individuals with obtaining divorces and legal separations through both litigation and negotiation. Mrs. Amberson has significant experience in litigating issues surrounding child custody and visitation, child support, and paternity. Mrs. Amberson has also helped families navigate the adoption process.
In addition to family law matters, Mrs. Amberson has experience with estate planning to include Last Will & Testaments, Advance Health Care Directive, and Powers of Attorney.
Mrs. Amberson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Troy University in 1999 with a B.S. in Public Relations and Print Journalism. While at Troy, Mrs. Amberson was a staff writer for the Tropolitan, the school newspaper, and a member of both the Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies. Mrs. Amberson is also a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
Thereafter, Mrs. Amberson received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama, School of Law in 2005. While attending the University of Alabama School of Law, Mrs. Amberson was honored to be on the Law & Psychology Review as well as the Campbell Moot Court Board. Mrs. Amberson was a member of the Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society and a board member of the Public Interest Institute. Mrs. Amberson was a recipient of the Dean’s Community Service Award and the Order of Samaritan. The Order of Samaritan is the highest public service award bestowed by the University of Alabama School of law.
